Digital Signage

Check out this digital signage made for Durham College as a project that has different panels fetching data from a database and displaying it on screen.

About Project

The Digital Signage project for Durham College involved designing a dynamic flat-screen display system that provides essential information such as time, weather, news, and the daily menu. In addition to this, the signage features promotional videos, enhancing user engagement. The system is easily managed through an admin panel, allowing for real-time updates.

The design followed Durham College’s brandbook, and included unique weather icons and advertisements. A box site layout was utilized to manage and present the information effectively, resulting in a visually appealing and informative digital signage system.

My Role

As the sole designer, developer, and video editor on this project, I was responsible for every step of the process – from initial concept sketches to the final implementation.

Tasks completed:

1. Conceptualized and implemented a design showcasing critical real-time information such as time, weather, news, and the day’s menu.

2. Created an admin panel with CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functionalities for efficient management of digital signage content.

3. Generated dynamic signage in alignment with Durham College's brandbook.

4. Creating 3 Motion Graphic advertising videos that are hosted on Youtube for playback.

5. Creating 3 advertisment using GSAP animations.
